The following volunteer positions are available at Exofest III:
Cashiers
Ticket Takers/Ushers
Concession Attendants
Postering People
Tour Guides
Security
Responsible for collecting money for tickets, passes and six packs, etc. Should have good customer service skills and some knowledge of the films being shown that evening.
Responsible for keeping accurate, legible records of cash received and assisting with cashout procedures.
Responsible for "proof of age" carding. Anyone that appears to be under the age of 25 must be asked for picture ID with birthdate.

Responsible for collecting numbered ticket stubs before patrons enter the theatre. Passes or six packs must be presented before patrons will be allowed into the viewing area.
Responsible for seating if the theatre becomes crowded - assisting patrons with special needs.
Responsible for cleanup before and after each film - collecting garbage, cleaning up large spills, etc.

Responsible for item count at end of night and cashout.

To poster as many poles and bulletin boards as possible. To approach businesses on Whyte Avenue, Jasper Avenue and 124 Street etc., to ask if we may hang a poster in their place of business.

People that are willing to take our special guests on tours of different areas of the city. (W.E.M. for example) Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle please!
We also need someone who would be willing to pick up and drop off special guests at the airport.

Responsible for running a safe, quiet environment for our patrons at both the theatre events and all galas/parties. Must posess good people skills and be able to carry themselves well under stressful conditions. May also be required to accompany special guests on tours and outings.

Our festivals run strictly on donations from corporate sponsors and private individuals. If you would like to sit on the board of directors, or donate your time at one of the festivals, please contact our volunteer coordinator rbartlett@exophagy.com.
